Me (sloppily) playing a traditional doom/heavy metal song I wrote, influenced by Black Sabbath, Trouble, Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, Pentagram, Witchfinder General, Count Raven, Lord Vicar, Spiritus Mortis, Grand Magus, Place of Skulls, Reverend Bizarre, The Gates of Slumber, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Procession, Iron Void, Sorcerer, Cirith Ungol, Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Angel Witch, and the like. Tell me what you think, I would also really like to start a traditional doom metal band with this kinda style so if you are in the South Bend, Indiana area, hit me up if you're into the kinda bands I listed and are interested. Mainly looking for a drummer and singer. Working band name is Climate of Despair. And seriously, I know my playing is not the best in this video but you get the general idea of my riffs. I had to record this quickly before work so yeah.

Lyrics I wrote to go along with this song:

Your friends are commodities, you give no trust
You leave 'em in the soil, their bones and guts
Anything that remains is worse for wear
You stretch it out just to see it tear

You and your enemies really do the same
Wasting your breath, exchanging the blame
Never can weigh what's lost and gained
If right and wrong just screws your brain

The simplest answers seem best to trust
But they're full of filler, just such and such
Keep trying to figure it out in your own way
But it's just recycled words you hear them say

So some of those words of highest wisdom
Exploit this urge to factualize fiction
You're wasting time with searching deeper
If you see it clear you'll find it's cheaper

Thanks for watching!
